It's common in low budget films to have more companies involved for funding purposes and so they all take the risk if the film doesn't do good instead of 1 company taking the whole blame.

Director is identified by the film.

Credits text looks rough.

A story about a troubled boy growing up in England, set in 1983. He comes across a few skinheads on his way home from school, after a fight. They become his new best friends even like family. Based on experiences of director Shane Meadows.

Exposition is used greatly in the opening sequence which helps to establish the time period of the film and what it's going to be about ( genre ) , we get the sense of crime because of the clips of the riots and the skins heads. Also the slips of the Farklands links toward the death of the main character's dad.
Old car identifying time period.

The mise-en-scene is used well in this film to distinguish the time period, because of their budget they used the same old cars over again in the different scenes, and also they had to change all the aerials on the houses so they'd fit in with the time period, all this measures taken add up to the well used mise-en-scene.
